”The program was a great refresher.  I generally deal with PICU and NICU patients.  The stuff on preload and afterload was really well done.”

Jimmy Puga, Children’s Medical Center 8-28-09

”...long story short I also decided I wanted to take the FP-C and ended up ordering your book and videos. I can’t think of an appropriate adjective to describe how helpful both were. I had a solid base from my reading but your videos tied it all together and gave me a sound understanding of concepts I really didn’t fully understand beforehand. Today I took my FP-C and needed to answer 88 questions to pass and got 106 correct. I didn’t miss a single critical cardiac patient  question which I fully attribute to your thorough videos on the subject. I just wanted to thank you and let you know that even though you weren’t actually there “instructing me”  I have found you to have been the most influential instructor I’ve had in my 8  years of EMS experience.  Your videos always help my attention and provided great explanation of “why?”  I made the mistake of going to another in person review course and it was quite a disappointment in comparison. So to sum everything up …. Thank you.”
                                                                           Jermaine Clayborne 8-4-09

”Best money I have ever spent for CEU's. Felt like I spent over 60+ hours in the books for the FP-C.... but your lectures brought it all together. Thank you again for the time you put into this series. Your balloon pump and swan line lecture was the best I have heard. I have recommended your lecture series to all our paramedics.”

”Thanks, these are great videos and you have some fantastic knowledge.  Your humor in the videos comes at just the right time and I laugh my ass off.  I’m an educator for Mercy Air/ Air Methods here in San Diego.  I will push your program for those who might benefit from it.  Thanks again.”

”Yes on the videos. You get a resounding endorsement from our program. I plan to keep watching them until time runs out...”

”Thanks again for putting this on line program together; I am finding it very helpful and I did not have to travel out of state to get the necessary information.”
                                                          Rielly Bryant 1-8-09

”...As for the general comments on your program………those who have taken it are loving it!  They enjoy the depth of the knowledge presented, and the changing hair styles, facial hair and dress during a lecture provides its own comic relief.  I have requests coming in each week from personnel who have heard about it and want a Coupon Code.  So, shortly we’ll be ordering more.
The depth of knowledge far exceeds our expectations.  While this program is billed as a CFRN/FP-C Prep Course, it towers over other 2-day programs. Most prep courses assume you've been introduced (in depth) to all the knowledge and just throw questions at you with little justification for the correct answer.  This program is such that you can adapt it to initial  and ongoing training WITH the added bonus of being a prep course.  So yes, I'd say its meeting our needs. “

”Just wanted to thank you for an excellent product, amazing material for anyone taking the FP-C. I wrote this AM, scored **%, passing easily on my first try. My preparation consisted of your videos, I skimmed your exam prep book, and that is it. “

                                                         Thanks, TH MedicNorth MEDEVAC 11-13-08

Thanks so much for your ACE SAT review. I have been a flight RN for almost 5 years with Florida Flight 1 in Orlando. I studied for the exam using the ACE SAT book as my anchor and wanted to let you know (which I am sure you already do) what a  wonderful text it is. The information is concise and to the point and relayed in a format that is easy for us visual learners to remember. I took the test yesterday and passed first time.. and with room to spare on the scores!!! Your rationales are explained very well, ( the legal disclaimer about smothering the baby gave me a great giggle!) The test tips are invaluable and were what I reviewed just prior to taking the exam.
                                                       TP, Florida Flight 1 4-30-09

Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the air medical community. Thanks for a great review book for the FP-C. I had tested once after self preparing ... I purchased your book and passed easily on Saturday.

                                                        Thanks, TH UT Lifestar 4-21-09

I wanted to thank you very much for your help in passing all the exams-CFRN,CTRN,CEN,FP-C. One more test to go -CCRN
Please use me as a reference --your book covered everything!!

Thank you Will.  The ACE SAT was one of only two books I used to study prior to taking the CFRN.  The book is worth every cent paid.  Not only is it a very comprehensive overview of the critical care transport environment, I feel that going through the book was in fact more of a challenge than the actual exam.  Well done and the definitive study guide for anybody serious about taking flight or transport certification.
Christopher Bare RN, CEN, CFRN, CCEMTP, NREMT-I85 2-1-09

Hi Mr. Wingfield:
Just wanted to say thank you for your study guide. I can't remember if I ever thanked you for the ACE SAT book. The FP-C was a piece of cake! I only missed four questions, and I was done in 28 minutes! I was expecting a lot worse than it actually was. You're doing a lot of good for people.
                                                       Jennifer Cohen, PHI-51 1-1-09

The ACE SAT was the key to my passing the CFRN exam. The questions in this book were extremely challenging! The review and rationales were thorough and gave insight as to why the wrong answers were wrong, but also why you might think they were right. There was enough humor (don't eat sinewy pilots) to keep a flow going. The chapters are separated by body systems and allowed for more study in weaker areas. The review included IABP readings and troubleshooting, invasive pressure monitoring and neonatal/perinatal care, things that aren't usually covered adequately in a non-flight review. The best part was the bold faced test tips. The morning before the exam I simply went over each test tip several times. There were multiple questions on the exam that were directly related to the test tips.
It was excruciatingly painful finding resources and study aides focused on air transport certifications. I could not find a CFRN or FP-C review class in Florida for the past 2 years, I was signed up for 2 separate classes, and both were cancelled for lack of interest. I was forced to do a pure "self study" prep. I know that I got more from this book than I would have from a 1-2 day seminar.

Tom Reyes, RN, CFRN, EMT-P 6-1-08

This book was a great help for reviewing for the FP-C exam. The amount of questions and the resources sited are right on target. I would recommend this book to any one preparing for any of the critical care exams or who just want to challenge themselves and their knowledge.

                                                       5-16-08

Here's the deal. If you're serious about taking any of these exams you will be hurting yourself by not adding this book to your preparation materials. The sheer volume of questions, broken down by exam sections, provides unmatched practice for these exams. Completing the entire book in one session is great for working on your test taking speed and endurance. But that's not all ( I sound like an infomercial here, sorry) the rationales to the answers at the end of every section are chock full of tips and information that not only will help you on the exams but may very well carry over to your clinical practice. Once you have put in your initial preparation I would recommend making this book the capstone. Take the ACESAT first in sections and reviewing answers and rationales after each section. As you feel more comfortable with the questions, your goal should be to take the entire ACESAT in one sitting. Stay alert, be efficient, and minimize your stupid mistakes. time yourself. At the end, review answers and rationales for the questions you got wrong. Repeat this process until you achieve a minimum of 90%. When you finally take the real exam you should proceed through them feeling confident and well prepared. And for those cheap-skates: If you avoid failing the exam the first time, the book will have already paid for itself because taking the exam again will cost you $229-$329. Good Luck.

                                                                          Rob Kippel, FP-C 3-2-08

This book is amazing! There are few study guides out there for the FP-C, CFRN, CEN, and CTRN, and this book makes an excellent addition to "what's out there". The rationales are easy to understand, and presented in a way that sounds like conversation, making the info within more accessible. Excellent work!

This book was worth every cent!! Though you must have the underlying knowledge to use this to your advantage, it is text you will not regret buying. There is nothing else out there that even comes close to this book. I would suggest this book to anyone considering these Cert's or just wanting more knowledge in their respected field.

Thank you Mr. Wingfield for taking the time to put together such a wonderful book. The best study guide that I have had the pleasure of reading. The test taking tips and the rationales at the end of each chapter was wonderful. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Mr. Wingfield for taking the time to put together such an OUTSTANDING review book. I used this book exclusively this past week for practice test taking prior to taking the FP-C exam today. It provided a solid review for the areas of the test I was already comfortable with and absolutely shored up the gaps in my knowledge for the areas I was weaker in. The test taking tips that were highlighted in each rationale chapter were "especially" valuable.

This book has far exceeded my expectations. Every question is broken down in the rationale section to help the reader better understand and prepare for what will be on the examinations. Thanks Will for spending the time on such an invaluable resource.

Will Wingfield has a unique gift for critical care education. He is an amazing teacher.

I have absolutely no doubt that this book will eventually be regarded as the very best critical care review text for paramedics, RNs and emergency medicine residents.
